ASSA ABLOY Door Security Solutions
As Web & Social Media Specialist for ASSA ABLOY Door Security Solutions, I developed and produced content for the DSS website and three related sites, and was responsible for creating and executing social media strategy for DSS accounts on LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram.

Yale University
As Director of Digital Technology for Yale School of Drama and Yale Repertory Theatre,  I replaced out-of-date websites with cutting edge sites befitting the nation’s top-ranked school of drama and the Tony Award-winning Yale Repertory Theatre. I also directed the accessibility remediation (to comply with WCAG 2.0 AA) of those and other School of Drama websites; supported web, email, and social media marketing initiatives; and planned, budgeted, and implemented technology solutions, including upgrading meeting spaces with wireless presentation option and enhanced connectivity.

As ITS Website Manager, I developed, managed, and promoted ITS.yale.edu, a site providing the university community with information and access to all IT services; designed and managed an intranet supporting Yale’s IT professionals; and provided editorial review of major departmental communications.

Prudential Annuities
As Intranet and New Media Manager, my duties at Prudential Annuities included upgrading the company’s intranet, producing newsletters and other email and print communications, and exploring and developing social media options.

Business & Legal Reports
As Director of the Interactive Media Group at Business & Legal Reports (now Business & Legal Resources) in Old Saybrook, CT, my duties included managing websites and email newsletters with a combined circulation of more than 360,000, and helping manage the company’s public relations efforts. I also directed the company’s foray into social media, including setting up its pages on LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. Earlier in my career at BLR, I helped design and then managed the company’s subscription websites.

Philly.com
I was the Executive Producer for Philly.com, the portal website for Philadelphia, including the Philadelphia Inquirer and Philadelphia Daily News. In addition to managing a staff of 10 editors and freelancers, I coordinated projects among the various departments and stakeholders.

The Bergen Record (now NorthJersey.com)
At the Record, I was the legal affairs and federal courts reporter before helping build, launch, and manage the Record’s first website. I also worked as an adjunct professor, teaching journalism at Montclair State.

The Connecticut Law Tribune
As Hartford Bureau Chief for the Connecticut Law Tribune, I covered the state Supreme Court, legislature, and law firms. My duties also included assignment and copy editing, and managing a small office.

Day, Berry & Howard (now Day Pitney LLC)
I worked as a litigation and trusts and estates lawyer for Connecticut’s largest law firm.

The St. Petersburg Times & Evening Independent
I covered business and city government (Largo, FL) for the St. Petersburg Evening Independent, and Hernando County police and courts for the St. Petersburg Times.

In addition, between my first and second years at Cornell Law School, I covered legal affairs for the Legal Times in Washington, D.C., and, while getting my master’s in journalism at the University of Missouri, I interned at the Wichita Eagle & Beacon and the St. Petersburg Evening Independent.
